Hi, I’m Robin Doan, founder and maker behind Goaty Goat Soap Company — and I’m so glad you’re here.
My journey into soapmaking began out of both necessity and curiosity. Living with chronic eczema and allergies made me pay close attention to what I was using on my skin and hair, and I grew frustrated with products that felt drying, overly complicated, or simply not worth the cost. I wanted body care that felt comforting, dependable, and thoughtfully made — without having to overthink every label.
Life on our acreage introduced goats into the picture, and with them came an abundance of fresh goat milk. Once I began working with it, I quickly fell in love with how rich and creamy it felt in soap and body care. That discovery sparked what would become Goaty Goat Soap: a small-batch brand built around goat milk, tallow, and simple, time-tested ingredients, paired with gentle, paraben-free fragrances that make everyday routines more enjoyable.
Today, I handcraft soaps, shampoo bars, conditioner bars, and lotions in small batches, focusing on consistency, comfort, and quality. I believe body care should feel good to use — not intimidating, trendy, or overly complicated. Every product I make is designed to fit easily into real life, whether it’s part of your daily routine or a small moment of self-care.
My faith is also an important part of who I am. As a Christian, I believe in being a good steward of what we’re given — our bodies, our work, and the resources we use. That value shows up in how I approach my business: with care, honesty, gratitude, and intention.
What started as a personal project has grown into something I’m deeply proud of. I love creating products that people return to again and again — not because of bold claims, but because they simply feel good to use.
